6The Cape Cod Marlin was a "modernized"
version of Nat Herreshoff's classic Fish Class that
was developed and produced by Cape Cod
Shipbuilding. My Client, an avid racer with an
eye for classic aesthetics wanted to unlock the
beauty of the Herreshoff hull form by creating
an equally classic deckhouse, while at the
same time modernizing and optimizing the
deck layout for around the bouys racing. The
result is deceivingly quick little racer that
always turns heads. I would like to think Capt.
Nat would approve!
